Default Garage door buttons issue

trying to get my garage door to open with one of the buttons pretty simple. I followed the instructions listed in the manual. Cleared all channels, programmed channel 1 to my garage remote, its said "channel 1 trained" when I go to press the button it says "channel 1 transmitting..." and my garage will not open.

anyone else have this issue or might know why mine isn't working?

had to turn key to ignition, clear channels, press LEARN CODE on garage unit, run back to truck and press and hold button for 2 seconds 3 times

^^^^^ This was on the tip of my fingers when I read your first post. I still remember almost falling off the ladder when I programmed mine.

^^^^ LOL mine just fits on an angle and I couldn't be happier. One thing I hate is taking snow off first thing in the morning. A snow brush has not touched my paint ever.
