I'm running that size with a 3 in lift on the front and a 1/4 wheel spacer

Is the wheel spacer necessary or just to make the tires stick out farther?

Pretty sure you need a 1/4" spacer. Ask Hodge. He is running that size w a Rough Country level and stock wheels.

cat daddy I was looking for info a while back but came up empty. the tire store told me if I order them I own them. I wanted the toyo at2 ( 35.1 x 11.8) in this size to run on factory sport rims WITHOUT spacers. I was also told the sport doesn't have as much clearance as the other models??? I was counting on some dealers to chime in but no luck.

I remember ,if you are running stock wheels I would think it would tight for clearance at the upper A arm ....I tried 295x60x20 terra grapplers I think they are 12.4 wide maybe and they just barley cleared , like a 1/16"... I would think 11.8 would be a walk in the park 295x65 in the MT are 35.4 was more concerned about the hight than the width....I was sure that I saw a burnt orange or rust red on here that was running them with a level kit.

Yeah I saw a red one with stock sport wheels and Nitto mt's on here. I believe the guy said he had NO spacers.
I like the stance of yours with the 275's they look bigger for some reason.

after countless hours searching this and other forums and everyone saying a 35 x 12.5 tire would fit no problem with a 1/4'' spacer than logic would tell that 11.8 should fit without spacers...please tell me if I am missing something? the 35.1 should be ok don't you think? cat daddy I can't believe nobody viewing this forum has not had experience with this size tire.

This thread may help you? http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=128856

I plan on going with Nitto TG's 295/65/20's when the 60's I have now wear out.
