I wonder why he keeps saying the trucks are configured for the max towing when the ram doesn't have the 8 SPD or the 3:92 gears. Both of which would have made a huge difference in his test.

On th Fast Lane Trucks web site they later said the truck did have a 3.92 rear. Don't know why they couldn't figure it out in the beginning so who knows.

They are going to release an episode with a Ram 8 speed with 3.92 towing up the Ike quantlet any day so will have to see how that works out.

That was about 14 minutes and 30 seconds of filler/garbage, and I'm being generous. The guy was obviously just BSing.

I guess Chevy was paying for this, but still. At least try and make it not overly biased.

Real world towing there isn't any need to see how fast any particular truck is. There's always going to be a difference. To me the real world comparison between trucks would be comfort, styling, dependability, service and performance. And not necessarily in that order. Performance is not always going to be how fast I can get there. Everyone's needs and wants generally will be somewhat different.

Oh, buy the way. A Ford F150 Ecoboost will out tow a 6.2 F150. The video comparison was only by engine displacement.
