That is okay. But thanks!

BTW, what brand does your cousin sell (if you know?)

I was wondering if I could do a huge website for the dealer and see if they would pay the down payment for me.

Besides making the website, I could make and upload videos on each of the cars and take photos.

Any other ideas for a job? I really hate having a desk job (where I have to sit at my desk all day) but I don't want a too "labor intensive" job.

at your age I think it is safe to say you won't be stuck with a real desk job... I still say you get out there and apply everywhere physical possible.. Stores, restaurants, movie theatre, bowling alley.. anything and everything because you never know where the job opportunities are until you check under every rock.

And even if you were to manage to get the down payments covered for the truck.. You have to watch out for the monthly payments and the interest that gathers on top of it.. I work summers/ part time at an RV/ camper dealership and we had customers before that didn't have good credit and not a whole lot of money.. but they were destined to have themselves this trailer.. At the end of the day after how the payments were planned and the interest that gathers... Their $25,000 trailer would actually cost something more like $70,000.

Yes, I have not forgotten about the monthly payments, insurance payments, maintenance costs, and fuel costs, etc.

That's why I'm looking for a sturdy source of income.

We do have a bowling alley, but I never go to it. No movie theatres. Checked at restaurants, all you have to be 16. Also checked at a grocery store, and they don't hire until 16.

Darn child labour laws and restrictions.. wanting 16 year olds... We got to move you into a big city with tons of job options .. I know a bunch of my buds when we were younger got jobs at greenhouses and flower shops moving stuff around in the back.. They tend to hire young around here.

I wonder if any of the adults in the FFA program at our school would hire me for personal work.

Still haven't talked to my neighbor about the website thing.

Here's what I would do:

Find anybody in your family that has a business and ask for a job from them. Or friends. You don't need experience and they know who you are and your work ethic.

Example: I worked for my uncle's HVAC company the summer I turned 15 in 07 doing tear outs of duct work and learning as I went. Got paid $8 an hour and worked hard. By the end of the summer, I made good money (and being the idiot I was, I blew it on junk).

I have had some other jobs since then, but now I work for an engineer that works for Texas A&M. I met him through a club on campus. I basically do anything he wants at his property, such as cut down trees, mow, get quotes for projects, electrical work, etc. I make $15 an hour and the hours are flexible, since I'm also taking 16 hours this semester at 2 different campuses.

My brother is helping bale hay and told me he got paid $12.50 an hour the other day.

I would start asking around about work. Don't worry about your size, there is always a way to get something done. And, you'll get stronger, gain experience, and hopefully make some good money towards your truck.

Well, my last string of hope just broke. I was going to make a website for the place where my neighbor works, the car dealer, as they have a CarsForSale website. She said that her boss would hate the idea.

I mean I still could make websites, but I was hoping for this job in particular as it would pay for the truck then some. I'm doing a free website for the basketball team I'm the manager for at my school.

Nobody in my family has their own company. All my family lives down river about 30 or 40 miles...

I just don't know where to go from here... I could be making website's but it seems as if everyone thinks that I don't have any talent in that field and they'd go to the bigger, more so-called "professional" people in town, such as the computer geek downtown. I even created the website for my neighbor, so I could show her, but I deleted it.

I already told my dad that if I can't find a job by the time I turn 15 I'm just going to wait until I turn 17 to get my driver's license. A driver's license is almost no good without a vehicle...

Dont let anyone tell you that you cant make do this or do that, i was told in middle/highschool the same thing. I went from a picking corn on a local farm in the summer time to burger flipper, to burger flipper manager, construction worker, to now wood and metal fabrication/equiptment operator. Im now doing what i wanted to when they said i couldnt make it.

So DO NOT listen to that.

Also, Call call call, anywhere you put in an app. If you show them you want the job, when they go thru them apps your name will jump out. They will remember thay guy calling WANTING that job.

Just keep on trying, hang in there, and share some pics when you buy a ram!!!

Like they said,
