I'll be painting mine (gloss black) to match the truck. Using some Scotch Brite pads and discs to scuff the clear coat, prime, sand, prime, paint, and clear with paint from R&E Paint supply...they sell a clear coat in a can that has a hardener capsule you "break" in the can so it is ALOT tougher than a basic rattle-can clear....did the hood scoop on my old 2010 Ram and it turned out just as good as the factory paint job.

I think painting over chrome has the same issue
There isn't any chrome on the 2013 Sport wheels. They are polished aluminum (with the small strip in the center of spokes painted silver) and yes you can have them powdercoated.

I had a buddy who had his done, it was almost 200 a wheel, not cheap, personally I would just have bought new wheels for that money, but he was satisfied so that is all that matters
