Wow, I wanted mine to be louder so I was thinking of going from a Mufflex 14" to muffler delete. I can't post in the classifieds section yet so if you know a guy, send him my way.

Just installed my 22" today and kept resonators installed. If you're looking for an aftermarket sound with volume levels very similar to stock, I would recommend it.

One note - it's now very easy to tell when engine goes into MDS mode. There is some noticeable drone in the cab; however, I was still able to hold a conversation in the can easily and it wasn't very noticeable with music playing.

I'll try and figure how to post a video in the bear future for anyone looking into similar mods.

Now, to add shorty headers or not?!?!

I had a 12388 installed yesterday. Vehicle just hit hit 300 miles, so I have been babying the throttle. Initial impression is quiet with just a skosh of volume. ($165 installed + tax)

Air box and filter is still OEM from RAM. Have a K&N sitting in the foyer but somewhat afraid to install it. I know, I know, all will be fine....

I'll add some miles and offer my opinion soon. Pics coming too if you all think it would add value.

Your K&N will have more volume that your muffler
I had both paired previously as well.
Still have my 22" though.

Nothing unbearable....just under WOT, you really hear that K&N

I have the 18" maggie and feel I lost some low end and it is louder than expected. Also the 8 speed tranny feels like it isn't sure what gear it wants. I had a 2003 ram hemi that I put a magnaflow on and loved it. I think I will be going back to stock or may try the 22".
Anybody want a 18" single in duel out magnaflow cheap? Only about 200 miles on it.

It's pretty quiet at idle and light throttle cruising but it gets pretty loud when you step into it ANY and also sings pretty steadily while cruising at 75-80. I love the tone, it's just a tad too loud. So I'm having it yanked and replaced with a 22" 12588 today. I'll report back with my impressions.

Also, I may throw the 14" SI/DO Maggie in the Classifieds if anyone is interested. It's probably got 7-8K miles on it at most and is in great shape thanks to good ol' Magnaflow stainless steel.
Ill take that off your hands! Ryanmagan21@gmail.com

I think I'll have to make sure that if I have the local exhaust shop to my exhaust, that they make use of the 22" Magnaflow unit... I'm debating if I might not snag the muffler off Amazon or something and take it in with me, so I know I'll get a good sound for my 09
