Had zero issues with the update on my ram. It was for the 8.4A radio. Downloaded it from chrysler. Took about 15 min. to install. I would make sure If you are using a thumb drive that it is formatted as fat32 and not ntfs. The unconnected system won't recognize the ntfs fully. Did it in the past with ntfs and it was FAILURE!

So, over the weekend I took a trip and using the Nav. system was a joke. Driving down a major six lane highway outside Washington D.C. and system wants me to get off at every exit on the route. Wants to exit the highway and get right back on! Truck is at dealership now, is this the latest update?

Did you have the traffic avoidance stuff turned on? If there is a lot of traffic it will keep trying to direct you around it.

Just went through rush hour Atlanta today and all was well with the NAV, matter of fact I was happy with the voice commands and NAV for once.

Anyone willing to start selling update service. Because I can't be the only one that is tired of having to go to the dealer to have this done. The people @ Uconnect will send you a USB with the update but to get the update you must go to the dealer and have it installed. But I'm not sure what they are going to do in my case since my USB is not recognizing devices that are plugged into it. But it would be nice once they fixed the USB issue on my radio to not have to go to the dealership every time a new update comes out if one of the guys on here on the forums could help out and help us guys that I having trouble getting it on the flash drive it would be great because a lot of us don't have the time or the patience to deal with the dealership that is barely knowledgeable at all on our radio systems that are in the 13' trucks

After four months with my new Ram with navigation, I find myself using my google navigation on my smartphone more than my truck NAV. Sad but true.

I have updated my RA4 many times with the latest software. I have reverted back to 13.10.6 due to the loss of sound quality with the Sirius and FM radio with the new updates. With the new update 13.38.52 you can turn the radio up to a comfortable level and then switch to Media device and the sound is blaring... You can also turn the volume to 38 and still have a conversation. It makes my Alpine sound horrible!!! I have since reverted back to 13.10.6 over the weekend. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue as me??

Kjramsport-

I read your post and you got my curiosity up, I went out a while ago checked my radio out, sure enough at 38 and listening to sirius-xm i could hear my neighbor cutting his grass but when i flipped to media player selected an mp3, i should have thought to get out of the truck first, damn that was worse than shooting a 12ga indoors. i am going to try to back off to the last good release i had installed next weekend.

Interesting, 13.19 goofed up the levels for me and the media player was always quieter then SXM at the same volume number after that update. The new 13.38 update its all pretty even now and the overall volume seems to be louder when all the way up in all modes.

I have tried 13.15.4 and 19.0 updates and had the same sound issues... I found 13.10.6 on a Jeep Forum and downloaded it months ago and that's what I've been using since January.
