I vote for this ^^ I got an adjustable drop hitch a couple months ago and it's definitely the way to go. For one, not all trailers you tow are going to have the same tongue height. Two, if you ever change the height of your truck you can still use your hitch. And three (kind of relates to two) if you buy a different truck or need to use your hitch on a buddy's truck that's a different height that's an option. All great reasons to buy one IMO. I'm still using the same hitch that I had on my 1500 with a 6" lift on my 3500 (stock height for now) and I've used it on my dads truck that's even lower. It's great to have that versatility and now go out and buy a new hitch every time you change the height of your truck or have a different trailer to pull.
