Interesting. I usually don't push the pedal to WOT just because I know the transmission has specific shift points for that. Does it also have specific parameters for fuel/air management as well? Would make sense.

I will have to try this out.

I have noticed this too! I would slam it in 3rd and mash the throttle to pass someone and let off a little and it would feel way better. I thought I was getting too much knock or something before I had my programmer, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Right now I'm running a hemifever custom tune. I love the tune, pulls much harder then running a canned tuned. But I have a problem with both tunes.

When I'm a WOT It seems to bog down a little in the 2500-4000rpm range. If I let off it a little while its bogging down. It will take off like a bat out of hell.

Other thing I noticed is that right after I get my oil changed the bogging stops for about 500 miles (my 0-60 times on my trinity confirm its true.)

I took it to one shop, and they are convinced they could fix my problem with there $800 dyne tune...

I might throw a AF gauge in to see if it pulls rich or lean in when this is happening.

Any ideas what it could be?
Would like to hear about your custom exhaust.???.

As mfg'd, driving below WOT, the A/F ratio is calculated by real time measurements, with intermittent rich pulses for checking the cat system integrity.
At WOT, a predetermined injector pulse width ratio is used, which must be on the rich side to avoid potential damage.

I pulled 1.5% fuel out of the low band today, and 2% out of the mid band. Its alot better.

I don't think that would cause the motor to lean out too much, especially since I believe now it was getting real rich at WOT.
