Default Easy fix for the missing diesel fill cap on the 2013 Ram cummins

Found a quick easy fix for the missing fuel cap on the 2013 Dodge Ram Cummins diesel. Went to Lowes hardware and found an 1 1/2" Oatley 33400 test plug in the plumbing section. It fits perfect and has a wing nut to tighten, it was a whole $3.99. I'll post some pics later. I also made some cool oil change tools for the Cummins diesel those pics will follow later.

Default Pictures of fuel cap

Sorry for the late post on the pictures by I was stacked up with doctor apointments. I'm adding the pictures of the FUEL CAP. On the fuel Cap I drilled a 3/16 hole at the top to attach a very small key ring which is attached to a Walmart water bottle cap holder. I cut the 1 end and put a metal eyelet to attach to the test plug/fuel cap and the other end I used a 1/2long 1/4x20 bolt with an acorn nut to attach to the hole in the Ram Fuel door arm. Another picture is a 2 quart pitcher which I cut the handle and shortened the length to be the same height as the Cummins Oil filter on the bottom is a 3/8 concrete anchor and rod couplings. You slide the whole thing over the installed oil filter and attach a rod long enough to extend down and tap with a hammer so when the filter is punctured pull down enough to pull the pin out and the filter will drain out the oil into the 2 qt container. After removing the 2 qt container just put a small rag push it into the hole with a small screw driver and spin the filter off no mess. The oil catch container is a Lowes 5 gallon bucket that I cut the center out and installed a old rusted kitchen strainer than hot glue gunned the whole thing in so when I drain the oil if I do drop the plug it will be in the strainer not in the bottom of the bucket with 11 to 12 qts of oil. You will have to raise the front end to get the bucket underneath but that's a small price to pay for keeping things clean. The next item is regular energy drink bottle and the center has a brass fitting on top attached to a brass valve and hoses. I will use this to drain the front fuel filter of water and it can also be used for the rear water separator. When the bottle starts to fill up shut the valve install the regular cap put another bottle and continue the process till your satisfied the water is out of both filter and separator. The last item is a standard oil filter wrench that I cut and welded a 7/16 box end which a square end of the 3/8 extension will fit and it will get into the tight spot where the oil filter is you can remove that way and install also. This will fit all brands of filters.
I'm trying to upload but I keep getting a message a security token was missing \, can anybody clue me in so I can upload the pictures? Just notified the administrator.
