Default Tire cleaning/polish/shine help

Anyone have any good ideas on how to make tires look new again? I love the way tire foam looks but I know the silicone in there will cause cracking over time.

The first step as far as I'm concerned is to really really scrub all of the residual product off the tire. We all have used a variety of products to achieve "The Look".
I have found that it is nearly impossible to get all the way back to fresh rubber unless you use some serious cleaning products and serious elbow grease..
I have covered my tires in various cleaning products and used a pressure washer to remove it….. swipe your finger hard on the rubber and it still turns black.
You can always go the harsh chemical route but I have had great luck with a bucket of warm water and couple ounces of kitchen Dawn dish soap (degreaser) and a stiff bristle brush. Scrub it on- let it sit- spray it off- repeat if needed.
Once you get back to black rubber- It's all up to how shiny or how matte you like it to look.
Too much work? Well another coat of tire foam won't hurt- seriously… they're just tires-- it's not like you're going to leave them to your grandchildren some day.

I use comet and a scrub brush when my tires look like yours to get new look back and use duragloss after they dry, I use tire foam sometimes as well when I dont have much time just not all the time because of the silicone.

Once you get the tires cleaned up, I use Meguiar's Endurance tire gel. Using a foam applicator to apply the gel to the tire, wipe off the excess. I feel that it provides a nice look and holds up over time. Does take a little more time for the initial application, but the follow up coating is much easier. No over spray to content with on wheels and you merely wipe off the excess on the tire to avoid sling!
