Default Factory HID's

My 2011 Ram 1500 Big Horn did not come with them.

If I were to find the OEM set up for sale, I would be able to install them correct? Also any idea's as to where I could find the OEM (or similar) HID kit for sale? I put some on my 02 dodge and was given shit for them because they do not say "dot approved" on them.

I don't think 11's had OEM factory HID's. However, there are some great aftermarket products available.

See my truck has that sticker in the door saying "This vehicle may be equipped with factory HID head lamps" . and since it would have been a factory set up, i know it would be DOT approved and I couldn't be harassed for them.

As far as I know there aren't any Rams on the road with factory or OEM HID's. They are all aftermarket. Check out a site like Retro Solutions, Retro Shop or DDM Tuning. All of them make HID kits for Rams. You will need a wiring harness and the error eliminator a to prevent flickering and bulb out issues.

No factory HID's. I thought the same. However, with that said, I have had HID's in 3 rams and 8 cars total over the last 10 years, and I have NEVER had an issue. not one. Never even been asked by a cop what kind of lights they were and if they were factory.

Put them in, re-aim them so they do not blind/kill people, and enjoy. I get all of my stuff here:
