Default 3rd gen modular intake tube on 4th gen 4.7?

Does anyone know if the Airaid modular intake tube (part# 300-925) for the 03-07 4.7L will fit on a 4th gen 4.7, more specifically the 2013? I'm looking for a good intake mod without permanently modifying the stock intake. I'm going to get a drop in filter but really want to get rid of the stock tube and air hat. Any info will be great!

You could be the first trying this on a 2013 4.7.
Keep us informed on how it goes,as i'm curious about this too.
Wish i'd done something like this on my 13 instead of spending a bunch of money on an Airraid cai

How do you like your Airaid CAI? I'm kind of thinking instead of going down a road no one else has gone before, maybe doing something similar to what KRAZYK has done and fabricate my own tube and use an aFe drop in filter

Not worth the money.
I have roughly 10 hours into making a cover for it so it's sealed up a bit better
Your idea is a better alternative,as the stock airbox is a better designed box

so i found a true flow intake tube for cheap, similar to the airaid i wanted to use at a fraction of the cost. noticed a difference in sound and throttle response. i love it [IMG][/IMG]

I would like to know the advantages of doing this and hornets ram air idea. I have been wanting to do something to my truck since the exhaust, but I want it cheap enough that my wife won notice.
hey RAMboning what part of the state is Buda tx I live fairly close to ft hood in central tx. My truck is almost the same as yours except it's 2wd and has the chrome bumpers.

Do you have the tow hooks Ramboni.
I don't have the tow hooks on mine,so that's where my ram air tube terminates.
The plastic tow hook covers are easy to remove, fairly cheap to replace, and with a little creative cutting make a good spot to run a tube to
