Default Rear End "Creak" on Take Off

So, anytime the truck comes to a complete stop, and I accelerate and takeoff again I am getting a "CRREEEAAAKKKKK" that goes away as soon as I pick up speed.

I have tried lubing up the leaf springs, unbolted the u bolts and re-torqued them...and nothing has changed the noise.

I am getting a slight driveline vibration on the highway under acceleration, so I plan to change the ujoint this weekend. Nobody thinks that the creak could be related to the ujoint do they?

If I bounce the truck etc it is completely quiet, I only get the "CREEEAAAKKKK" when taking off..and only from a complete stop. What about parking brake etc???

I know this sounds like axle wrap...and the truck does have 1 inch blocks on the rear, but it has never made any noise in the past 6 months they have been on. ANY ideas please throw them out.

Default Fixed

So.....I always like to post a conclusion to my issues.

It was axle wrap, I took apart all of the u bolts and removed the blocks. I noticed some galling on the top centering pin insert of the P/S block. It appears that somehow the u-bolts came just a tad loose and must have caused a slight shift in the axle. I just kept re-torquing the issue. I also noticed that my pinion angle seemed a tad off.

I filed out the galling and recentered the blocks and rear axle. I got the Ubolts on and tightened the rear nuts only. I then placed a bottle jack under the front of the diif behind the pinion and gave it about 1 pump to re-align the driveshaft and u-joint. Tightened down the nuts on the front U-Bolts and done. All creaking/ axle wrap is gone and so are my vibes on the highway. Nice and quiet again.
