The tank was expensive, but it is paying for itself at $12 a fill up, plus convenience
40 cents a gallon X 30 gallons per fill up over in Yuma Arizona

As far as work goes, i already have had 2 calls to do jobs tomorrow, i accepted one of them & if everything goes well, i may get to do the 2nd one, he is waiting on a Transportation Permit so that he can travel with his Oversized Load

Yeah GT hit the nail on the head with post #16. I have an aux tank in my tool box along with an electric fuel pump. The outlet line from the fuel pump goes through the sheet metal near the left front corner of the bed, just under the rail. It goes down between the inner bed sheet metal and the outter bed sheet metal and ends near the filler tube of the fuel tank. Near that filler tube is another smaller tube that is an overflow breather tube, one end of it goes to the tank and the other end of it goes to an area near the top of the filler tube. I put a T which was the size of the two tubes in this smaller breather tube. When I want to fill my main tank I unscrew the gas cap on the filler tube (don't know if this is necessary) and flip the switch that controls the electric fuel pump. I have found that a fuel pump is needed even tho the aux tank is above the main tank, gravity feed for some reason will not work. I used the T and the breather tube because connecting to it was easier than putting another inlet into the metal filler neck, and the fuel ends up the same place, in your fuel tank. I've used this aux fuel tank many times when I'm pulling a 5th wheel trailer, just knowing you have some extra fuel is a nice feeling.

51 extra gallons? Plus the 32 gallons? Are you planning on driving to China? That's over 80 gallons or almost $300 of fuel weighing over 700 pounds.

If you were hauling near the trucks two limit and you were crossing the West and the desert regularly, it would make sense. But remember this, you will still have to stop to drain the lizard. So that's what you have to consider.
