Default HELP!! Center console USB doesnt work

Hey guys, I have a 2013 bench seat with the flip down center console. I tried using the usb a few months ago and it worked. Now finally bought a usb stick and added a bunch of music to it but the usb quit working on me. When i install the usb drive it feel really flimsy when sitting in the slot. It doesnt light up when plugged in and the radio says no media device. It is the base model 3.0 radio which i think is garbage in the first place doesnt even have bluetooth in it when you can go out and buy base model carola's for 13g's with bluetooth. Anyways enough ranting for now. Does anyone know what my problem could be? I have a feeling that something inside the console or behind the head unit got loose. If anyone with any knowledge on how this stuff works can give me some sort of info on trouble shooting or anything to help resolve this it would be greatly appreciated!

Try a different USB stick. Sounds like it's just not plugging in all the way. Could be a bad USB stick, or a bad USB port on the truck. The light on the USB should definitely light up if it's seeing a connection

USB stick is good tried it in a buddies vehicle. I took out radio unplugged and replugged the USB wires and still nothing. I can't seem to find a way to get access to the wires inside the arm rest though. I have a feeling its in there that's causing the problem.

Dealer should cover that then if it's in the radio or USB port. I don't know how to open that cover in the center console.
