Default Road Paint in Wheel Wells

Anyone have any successful tips of removing white road paint from wheel wells. The bad part is its been there a for 2+ years. When it first happened tried using a clay bar but it didn't work too well.

Now that I got some more free time on my hand, I was going give it another shot. Anyone have any tips?

Have you tried a pressure washer? Maybe even soften with solvent first.

Green scotchbrite pad and some elbow grease, it will come off. Give it a squirt of WD-40 and scrub away. Just wash it out good when your done (WD-40 attracts dust).

After 2 hours of scrubbing with the help of some WD40 I successfully got one wheel well clean.

However, I got a red trim of paint of where the wheel wells and body meet. Anyone have any ideas of how to get the road paint off the trim? When try using the scotchbrite and WD40 it was removing the red paint. I could see the red on the scotchbrite.

Anyone have any ideas?

I would be hard for me not to just tape off the wheel well and paint it black - after pressure cleaning the crap out of it
