That is great news, now I must find some. There is a local online distributor that sell it however they are currently sold out. I'm definitely going to get some to try. Thanks.

I really mean it, it's awesome. That's a good thing to hear. I just can't decide which way to go (3.55 or 3.92). I'm going to be pulling a trailer that's about 5000 pounds, but the majority of the time I'll just be driving on the highway and city. Thinking about gas mileage in that aspect.

Just my opinion, but I think you'd be totally fine towing 5,000 lbs with 3.55's. And, there is no doubt that the taller gears are going to have at least somewhat better highway MPG. Again, just my opinion, but if you only need to tow 5K once in awhile and MPG is a prime consideration, I think you'd probably be very happy with 3.55's.

When I'm empty, if I keep it to 75 MPH - which I usually don't, there is a lot of interstate around here posted 80 MPH - but, when I DO keep it to 75, I'm getting a solid 17 MPG on the highway with mine (hand calc'd). And my CC/6'4", 4x4 Longhorn is probably about as heavy as a Ram 1500 gets. But, when I cruise 80-85 MPH, which is more often the case, it drops to 14-15 MPG.

Not to thread jack but I towed a 6,000 lb bay liner with my 3:55's. I started this thread on my experience. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=118387. As the title states she towed like a champ.

Looks great! I actually had a family member in Utica pick me up some wax from the Collinite factory. A great company to support with a fantastic wax.
