Default Another no start!

Alright, I know this is a topic brought up to much, but i searched the forum found nothing pertaining to my problem. I recently had to do an engine swap as the rod bearings spun and welded together but anyway, truck ran top for a week, backed up to the backyard and tried to restart it and nothing, sounded like the IAV was shot, replaced it, then i noticed the fuel pump was nothing entering the priming cycle, so i in all of my wisdom hit the tank a couple times and she primed but that was it, went to start it and she started but fell on her face, just wondering if anyone has had this issue and had it be anything other than the fuel pump?

Sounds like fuel pump to me. Feel your pain. I'd installed an upgraded turbine-style pump, which runs virtually silent, many miles ago, and was startled when it recently started making a tiny whine occasionally. I was pressed for time, and hoped it'd hold on for a while but it decided to quit, and I had to drop the tank on a Ramcharger at a campground on my vacation (I was prepared, knew it'd happen, just the way my luck runs). It was down on power, but that was okay til it started cutting out while climbing some very small, tight mountain roads. Talk about getting one's heart pounding. NOT FUN! We made it, and I already had a new pump. Just glad I didn't have to try that on the road. Bite the bullet and change it before you get stuck somewhere.
