Because of the farm of the 2009-2012 Ram? What's that supposed to mean exactly?

There's absolutely no issue installing them on a 2010 Ram 1500. It would be exactly the same as my 2012. There is absolutely no cutting involved. The only extra work you have to do if your truck didn't come with OEM steps is that you have to install the rivnuts and backing plates into the backside of the rocker panel. Not difficult to do at all.... Then it's just bolting on the arms and boards and wiring them up to the TIPM. I'd say you need to go find another installer that actually knows what's going on.
