flushed my transmission. I checked the differentials, how do you tell if you got water in there? the fluid is pretty black and I can see a few bubbles. Iguess I probably should change it, but if I didn't get water in there, I don't think that is my problem. The car seems to do fine once it is up to speed, just accelerating from a complete stop the rpms go up but it doesn't want to accelerate.

Still sounds like issues in the tranny - you said you flushed the tranny ? You will have to get all the fluid out of the converter as well.
Its probably a good idea to change the fluid 2 or 3 times in the near future.
