Unhappy Audio Questions

Hi guys, this is my first post on here and I want to get some ideas from you guys. I have 2 12 inch kicker subs that I had in my jeep but I got my new Ram and dont want to sit them on the back seat because I have friends that sit back there. So, I decided Id try to sell them on craigslist. Ive gotten people texting me about them but nothing to promising. I just put an ad on today but I wanted to ask you guys if you know of any boxes that are out there that will let me have 2 12 inch subs (non shallow mount) that wont take up any room in the backseat. The only way I could see them fitting is under the bench seat in the back. Let me know if you guys are aware of any boxes or have any ideas for me. Ive grown attached to my subs and not sure if I want to let them go or not lol Let me know guys. Thanks!

Not enough air space under the seat for 12s. It's been tough enough for 10s.

Id sell them if you can and get new ones... with a box thatd fit under there youll probably only have enough airspace for a single 12... what series are they? I know the cvr"s dont like to be cramped at all...

Im not familiar with 2nd gens so sorry i cant be anymore help.

There are under the seat boxes that can fit 12's (Fox Box, Net Audio being the two best for "pre-fab" boxes) I believe they can fit a 6.5" depth subwoofer. Like mentioned already, these boxes will only give you roughly 1-1.3 cu/ft per sub and that's not much airspace for a 12" subs. There are a few subwoofers that can perform fairly well in that limited amount of space but I urge you to go with a sealed box....due to sealed needing less airspace per subwoofer.
You'll have to check the depth of your Kickers, and their suggested airspace requirements to see if they will be ok, and fit.
10's on the other hand will have plenty of airspace under the seat and MAY out perform 12's because the 10's will be in a appropriately sized box...
You have options!

With any of those boxes, you'd also have to add spacers to raise the seat. I'd sell them and get 10s.

I beg to differ on that! 2 12" JL Audio TW3-D4's in custom fiberglass bottom box.
