Default No power up hills or anywhere!!!

Ok everyone, '06 1500 with the 4.7L. 86,000 miles. Has next to no power, no codes are present. I just put all OEM plugs and Coils on it. If I go to accelerate up a hill, engine revs right up, only gets to about 40-45 mph and then check engine light FLASHES. I stop, wait 15 secs, lights goes out, no codes?? Again, it acts like its only running on 2 cylinders. I need help big time guys an gals!

Have you checked compression? If you punch it how high will the rpm go? More detail.

The engine revs without a problem, it hits damn near 5k or more, but speed wise it won't go more then 40 up a hill, and the engine light will flash the whole time until I let off gas, I have NOT checked compression on cylinders

If you have an Automatic transmission, check your transmission fluid level

transmission level is good. I unplugged the battery and let truck sit for about 15 mins, plugged back in. The truck seemed to run good for about 2-3 mins, then once I hit my first hill and got on the throttle it lost all power (but motor is still revving high) and CEL began to flash again. The CEL did not leave a code for me to read, but the motor feels sluggish and sounds like its skipping. Could this be a computer problem? or a sensor? If it was a sensor shouldnt I be getting a CEL code???

You may want to try a new fuel filter. If it's partially clogged, then the engine will get enough gas for light load (or just revving in neutral) but when you want power the plugged-up filter can't flow enough. Just an idea.

Just keep in mind to do this you will either have to drop the tank or lift the bed, as the filter is integral to the fuel pump inside the tank.
