Default Leather bucket seats & steering wheel

So I have about 1000 miles on my truck now and the weather has turned much cooler (snowing today). I noticed that my leather seats sound like they have plastic underneath - like it's between the foam and the leather. I really like the seats, but it sounds really bad. This occurs on both the front (heated/cooled) and the back (heated only).

Anyone else notice this?

Also, I dunno if it's just me.. but it feels/looks like my steering wheel is a little off-center of the drivers seat - the wheel seem shifted to the left rather than centered in the seat. I know one of the magazines mentioned this about the 2014 Silverado.

Maybe I'm just too particular?

Left of center? Oh no!! Here I thought I had ordered a "conservative" truck...

I feel it in my seat as well. Curious what its for. Maybe because of the perforated leather? spills?

It's for the cooling feature not the heated feature of the seat, my 2012 Jeep SRT had the same crackly sounding seats...it's the way it is...as time and wear happens the seat will or should become less noisy.

You'll get used to it...

I figured it had something to do with the cooling. Thanks guys.
Still curious about everyone's thoughts on the steering wheel placement versus the drivers seat
