Default Factory speaker wiring with new amp

I have a 2011 Ram Crew Cab and have replaced the factory speakers with Alpine components. I have also added an Alpine amplifier to power the system. I mounted the amp on the floor between the rear seats. I ran new speaker wire to the center console thinking that I would install the LOC and then intercept the wires for the speakers. Non-Alpine oem system. I have maintained the factory 730N RER head unit. I can't find clear direction on the outputs for the head unit. I believe that the gray plug on the radio has 4 speaker outputs. Two for the front doors and two for the rear doors. When I cut this wiring to install 4 channel LOC and then connect the 4 speaker circuits the radio would not turn on after I connected everything. I know the connections are good as I am an alarm tech by trade so I do that every day. It appears that the speaker wires are grays with stripe color and dark greens with stripe colors. I went to the tech authority site but cant seem to find the info. Help!

Are you not even getting the radio to turn on now? Or is it just no sound output?

Radio doesn't turn on unless I eject disk. Then I get the Ram Head for a second door opens and ejects cd. Unit shuts down after that. I have the six speaker system so there must be an area where the fronts are tied together. This is not the first stereo system I have installed so it has me puzzled.

Radio coming on for eject means it is still receiving +12v. When you had the radio out what wires were you working with specifically?
