Awesome thanks. I figured I was good with the height it was the width that I wasn't sure about.

Default Question on wheel size

I'm going to get my 2014 2500 4X4 lifted 4 inches. The shop doing the lift said the largest tires they can fit are 35's and that the minimum size wheel needs to be 20 inches. I would prefer 17 or 18 inch wheels. They said it has to be 20 because the brakes are too big? Is this true? Thanks.

17's are the minimum because of the brakes. Most HD Rams come with 17's stock. It's only the 2014's that have started coming out with 20's stock. So your shop is wrong. Regarding the tire size you could fit larger than 35's if you wanted to... but it partially depends on the wheel offset you plan on running as well. Most guys run a more negative offset for a wider stance which means you're more limited in height.

Has anyone tried 305/45/22s on a 2013 Laramie with the air suspension? And did they rub turning the wheel all the way? Thanks!

I really need some direction from the forum. I'm getting two very different lift recommendations from the two different shops in my area. I prefer a 4inch lift on my 2014 2500 diesel. One says they can do a 4 inch but it has to be BDS. The other doesn't have a 4inch option and is pushing me towards a 6inch pro comp lift. What's the ideal setup for my truck? Thanks

The ideal setup is the one you want. I know the BDS kit is compatible with the new 2500 coil suspension. I haven't heard anything about ProComp coming out with a kit for it. BDS makes great kits and I'd be running their kit far before a ProComp kit. Plus if you go to a 6" kit you'll want to run 37's to fill up the wheel well. If you want to stick with 35's a 4" lift is definitely the way to go.

Will I experience a significant loss in gas mileage with 37's?

I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Quad Cab with a leveling kit. I am putting new tires and wheels on my truck. Can you advise whether I will have rubbing issues with 305x55r20 Procomp Extreme All Terrain tires on 20x9 wheels with a 0 offset and 5 backspacing? Also about how far will they stick out so I know what kind of fender flares I need.

I am new to the forum, so my question may have already been answered elsewhere. I have a 2011 Ram Sport standard cab, short bed with 3:92 gears and stock tires. I want to go to a 33" or 35" tire without a lift. Is this possible just by reducing the wheel diameter in order to keep the overall tire diameter the same as stock?

Thanks, Rumpity
