I lost about 1.5 mpg going to 37's from stock tires on my Cummins. My truck is fully tuned and deleted though.

Also about how far will they stick out so I know what kind of fender flares I need.
Those will fit no problem. Should be sticking out past your fender by about 1".

Thanks, Rumpity
Stock tires are 33" tall so that's not an issue. You won't fit 35's without a level though. Reducing the wheel diameter does absolutely nothing to the overall tire diameter...

Default TPMS on 2014 2500 HD w/ 6.4 hemi

.

Wondering if any info is around with regard to TPMS problems on a new 2500HD RAM ? My brother-in-law has one and he has been having recurring trouble with the TPMS. It's at the dealer now for the 2nd time. The display keeps showing his 2 fronts in trouble. His recommended pressures are 60 psi front and 80 psi rear. Doesn't matter how high he pumps up the fronts, the display keeps saying there is a problem in the fronts. The first trip back to the dealer resulted in a reflash of the computer which worked for about 50 miles and the problem returned. The dealer said they think they must get new sensors. Anybody else having this issue ?

.

I'm considering going from a 33" to a 34" or so tire with a 22 inch rim. What are the commons sizes available to get close to this that people have done? Any pics?

What kind of stance are you looking for? Flush, tucked under, wide?

325/60/20's are an oversized 35.

Nope, not at all. 17" is the smallest you can go to clear the brake calipers. But you can go with any size you want 17 or above.

im not to educated with tire sizes haha, i put that in a tire size converter and replaced the 20 rim size with 18 and it made the tires smaller?

Yes. With metric sized tires the rim diameter affects the overall diameter. In a 325/60/20 tire for example. The first number is the tread width in millimeters, the second is the aspect ratio which is the percentage of the tread width that the sidewall of the tire is. The third number is the tire diameter in inches. To do a quick calculation of the overall tire width and height you use these formulas:

Width: 325/25.4 = 12.80
Height: (((325x0.6)x2)/25.4)+20 = 35.35

So now if you changed that to an 18" rim you're only adding 18" to the overall height of the tire while the sidewall stays the same height. So to compensate for that and get a larger tire you need to increase the aspect ratio to increase the overall size of the tire. You could look at a 325/65/18 (34.63"x12.80") or a 325/70/18 (35.91"x12.80"). But just because we can come up with those numbers in a metric size to come up with the overall tire size you are looking for doesn't mean a manufacturer actually makes them. Your best bet is to go to the manufacturers website and pull up their full list of tires and go to the page that lists all the specs including the overall height and width when mounted. That way you know exactly what you're getting.
