I have a 2010 ram 1500 sport and I'm in the market for new tires. I dropped down to 18's (fuel octanes, +1 offset, 18x9). I've decided on trail grapplers but I'm Unsure which size to go. No level since the bilstiens are back ordered still. Would 285/65/18 fit without any rubbing?

Anyone have pictures of the 285s ?

perhabs this section is better for my question:

regarding 33x12.50 nitto mud grapplers and 20x9 with 0 offset wheels:
Will i need a leveling for 33tires?
Will the tires stick out of bushwalker fender flares?

truck is 2006 1500 quadcab

That tire is shorter than stock, it will fit no problem.

You should be fine with that setup. The width of your stance without a level as the potential to give you a slight rubbing problem on the back of the inner fender but with only a 0 offset and a 33" tall tire you shouldn't have a problem.

No, they'd be tucked under pocket flares.

hi brandon,
thanks for feedback.

do you think a 2WD with 2.5" level will be fine with this setup without rubbing?

Yes, with a 2.5" level you definitely won't have any issues.

Hey I'm looking at buying a 5" lift for my 2002 1500 4x4, and I've narrowed it down to either Zone or Rough Country. They are both about the same price but I've heard some people say Zone is higher quality and it is made by BDS. Is this true? What exactly about the zone kit is higher quality? I'm just skeptical because I know many people run the RCX lift with no problems

Yes Zone is owned by the same company that owns BDS so they are essentially sister brands. Zone is just the more affordable option. For an 02 the Zone and RCX lifts are going to be very similar. Zone may be slightly better, but not by much. They do provide more options on most of their lift kits though.

Ok thanks, i appreciate the help. Now i was thinking about getting some 17x9 Raceline Assault rims with a 0 offset. I wanted -12 offset, but apparently they dont make those wheels with -12 offset. But what do you think about that offset? Im running 315/70/17s.
I have fender flares on my truck and id like the tires to be flush, but im pretty much set on those wheels. The only other ones I like that have a -12 or -24 offset are almost twice the price.
Also i noticed the Zone lift says I need 4.5" backspacing, whereas the RCX lift says 5.5. Any idea why that is?

What flares do you have on your truck? And how much do they cover past the fender?

That's probably just be because of the knuckle design.
