I have fender flares on my truck and id like the tires to be flush, but im pretty much set on those wheels. The only other ones I like that have a -12 or -24 offset are almost twice the price.
Also i noticed the Zone lift says I need 4.5" backspacing, whereas the RCX lift says 5.5. Any idea why that is?

That's probably just be because of the knuckle design.

17x9 0 offset with 315/70/17 will stick out past those flares by about 1" (to the outside of the tire). -12 offset would stick out 0.5" further.

Exclamation backspacing/offset

Hi i have a 2014 ram 1500 express, single cab short box 4x4 I want to put the bilstein 5100 at 2.1 height, I would like to run 295/75R17 (or bigger if I can), on a 17x9 rim (not a stock rim). I would like the tire to stick out a little bit but not far enough I need fender flares what backspacing and offset would I need I was looking at 4.53" backspace and -12 offset would that be too much or not enough.........

A 295/75/17 is already pushing it for only having Bilsteins at 2.1". You could go wider but wouldn't want to go any taller.

If you want them to stick out about 1" past the fender you'll want a 0 offset rim.

Ok what size tire would you run with them at 2.1, and on 17x9 and what back spacing and offset would be best. Would the -12 offset and 4.53 not work? (would it be to far out or in). My stock 20's are +19 and 5.75" and they sit pretty much flush with the fender.

Well depending on what tire you want, a 295/75/17 may not exist. I haven't seen that size from Toyo or Nitto. I'd probably go to a 305/70/17 with a 17x9 0 offset wheel. A -12 offset will probably be sticking out further than you want.

Hello All,

Have a 2013 ram express.. Just bought helo he835 wheels now I am going to be looking for some aggressive tires.. I wanna move up a few size but of course I am worried about fitment and speedometer issues.. what is a solid size to move up to? Also I am thinking about putting a leveling kit on it and maybe some spacers as well..

Thanks!
