On the Tire and Wheel fitment sticky it states that 295's will fit on the rims without rubbing ( I will quote at end of page). The problem I am having is that no reputable tire companies are wanting to mount on the tires that I want. I am wanting the G Force T/A KDW2 in 295/45/20 instead of going the usual route of lowered trucks of the Nitto 420s (285/50/20). My reasoning for this is that on my 03 Cobra I couldn't get the G forces to slip, but I have heard that even on the rams that the nittos slip a bit.

My question is 2 part:
1) Can anyone confirm that the 295 width will fit on a 20x8 wheel?
2) Does anyone know a reputable, nationwide shop that will mount these?

" Exception for fourth gens with 8" wide stock rims: There is an exception to the above general rule for fourth gen trucks with the stock 8" wide rims. The narrower rim pulls the sidewall in more than the wider rim and allows fitment of a wider tire. Members with the 8" rims have confirmed no rubbing with 295/60/20 and 295/65/20. I personally have not seen confirmation of anything wider fitting but that doesn't necessarily mean it will not."
I had 295/45's on my ford on 20x9's and the tire had quite a bit of bulge, 20x10 would have looked better. IMHO 295 with a 45 or less aspect ratio is too wide for an 8" rim. Not an issue with higher aspect ratio tires like a 60 or 65. It may fit but will have a serious sidewall bulge and will not handle very well. I would either go wider on the rims or narrower on the tire. Again, just my opinion. What rim width does the manufacturer of the tire recommend?

Im getting blistens front and rear, and a 1.25 rcx body lift. Will 35/12.50/20s fit on the stock 20x9s without any rubbing if I set front blistens to 2.1 or 2.8?

Or should I just get new wheels with a 0 offset?

What type of tire? You should be able to clear them on stock rims with 1/4" spacers but it's not a 100% guarantee if you're going with Toyo MT's or Nitto Trail Grapplers since they're actually 13.4" wide. But any other 35x12.5 should clear no problem. Getting new rims is obviously an option as well if you want them.

Yup, you'll be able fit those tires on the stock rims with 1/4" spacers. They only measure 12" wide mounted.

Very few aftermarket wheels are actually hub centric but most of them will come with adaptor rings to make them hub centric for your truck. You want to make sure you get those rings.
