Default Torque converter build?

I'm trying to figure out which TC to get, Edge or Circle D. I have emails out to both Andre and Chris. My question is though, I know some of the Circle D converters are just stock ones with rebuilt parts and some are complete custom built converters. I can't figure out this same thing with the Edge converters. I know Edge has only 3 available for our transmissions, but I don't know if all 3 are rebuilt OEM converters or custom built ones. Anyone know the answer?

The circle D I picked up wasn't a rebuilt OEM, but I know there are some out there. From everything I've gone through and seen on all my forums is the Circle D is good up to 3000 stall, then it's fairly loose, the Edge had the advantage in the higher stalls.

I'm doing my cam swap soon and I was talking with Jacob at Inertia and he recommended a 3000 stall converter. I'm just trying to decide which converter to get.

I was reading some of the threads about edge and circle d on here and one of them mentioned that a few of the circle d ones are OEM with rebuilt parts and others are custom built. I'm just trying to figure out if that's the case with the edge converters.

The only rebuilds that I've heard of from Edge were a few years ago and only on the mild street TCs. If you go with the street or pro you're getting a new converter. If you think about it, it's just the outer casing that's reused, the internals are totally different, it's no different than picking up a reman alternator... new internals, just a used casing. Just food for thought.
