It could possible be the dimmer switch itself. Is it a dial (rotary potentiometer) or digital (up down DPDT)?

The rotary one. After I posted this it stopped doing it. Must be a loose connection somewhere.

I had the same thing happen last night. I recently had recalls taken care of and updated uconnect. I find it hard to believe it’s a connection issue, I’m sure it has something to do with updating my truck. I turned the truck off and back on and it seemed to stop.

Well keep me posted, I was concerned about it and will let ya know if I notice it again or can figure out the problem. In the old days I would guess the alternator was going out but thats not the case here. I was going to bring my truck in but figured I would get the sorry we could not replicate the problem speech.

Just got back from a short run and it's not flickering tonight, o well I guess. IMO Eventually I'd say it will give out altogether

Well I started my truck up this AM to go to work and the dash lights were flashing again, this time it was way worse. Not sure what to do at this point, I took video to show the dealer but who knows if they can figure it out.

I checked for that when I got my truck. Didn't do it. Had all the updates and recalls looked after last month. Last night the temp was about 35 F and I turned the lights down as I was leaving the city. Yup... there went the blinking dash lights. They stopped blinking when I turned up the intensity, but everytime I turned them back down, then they blinked.. Drove the truck home parked it in the garage and shut it off. Started it this morning after it sitting in the heated garage all night and headed to work... in the dark. dimmed the dash lights and there was not any blinking. Don't know if it had anything to do with my NAV/Radio screen freezing up the day before and the reverse sensors not working either. Everything seems in working order today.
