Hey guys.. been doing alot of reading and i wanted to get the OE spark plugs but both auto parts stores i went to didnt have any.. they only carried single platinum and up... I got the single plats but didnt install yet do you think i will have any problems or should i spend the money and wait and get the OE ??

They were only 2.50 a plug for the plats and the stealership has them but wants way to much per plug..

99.99% of all modern spark plugs are "copper core". The iridium, platinum plugs etc are named because of the different metals the are on the ground strap and center electrode, but still have a "copper core" that is inside the porcelain part of the spark plug.
This is from the NGK site. This is for a 2012 RAM 5.7 engine as a upgrade from the stock OEM plugs.

Why you pay threw the nose? You bought at dealership? I had talked with the parts manager and asked him to price match at napa and said sure. I thanked him for it and bought the trans filter kit also when picked up the plugs.

I just had the dealer swap my plugs at 39k with OEM replacements. Its pretty amazing how much better the truck runs. I was just starting to get a slight hesitation under full-throttle when accelerating on the expressway. Now it's runs like it did when it was brand new.
