Default Muffler?

Whats the best muffler to get for a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7? I want a little deeper sound but not over bearing.

I recently put a mufflex DOD24M kit on mine which is a Magnaflow 24" muffler. I really like the sound, its a little louder than stock and sounds good when you put your right foot into it.

I have the DOD18M, has a nice throaty sound, but not by any means obnoxious. It does have a slight droan at highway speeds.

How do the DOD 18 and 24 sound when it drops into MDS? That is what is keeping me away from a switch.

With the 24 I can definately tell when MDS kicks on, kind of sounds like a "jake brake" on the inside, but it was also annoying with the stock muffler. I fixed the MDS by locking it in 6th and driving around that way, have not noticed any fuel economy difference.

Check out Solo Performance. I installed their muffler for the Ram on my 2013, and I love it. It will bark when you get on it, but no obnoxious interior noise or drone--none whatsoever. It is sweet, and you will love the finish. Everyone that looks at it tells me that it looks too good to be UNDER my truck. It is a beautiful, polished stainless steel that really compliments your stainless dual exhaust. Great company, great performance with my HEMI GT Tuner and Vararam intake. I could not be happier.

22" Magnaflow PN# 12588, Its the same one that comes in the Magnaflow Cat-Back kit and there is zero drone. I highly recommend this muffler for the perfect balance between exterior volume with a nice deep tone and interior resonance.
