When talking about home field advantage nobody comes close to that level of advantage. Earlier this year we had Guinness Book on hand for a regular season game and we shattered the noise record....New World Record. If you never been to Arrowhead you can't even imagine what I am saying to you. Everything has to be silent count and there is no verbal audibles.

I believe Denver will be facing NE in this playoff scenario if things continue on the current track with no key player injuries. NE matches up even better than KC against them. I look for Denver to have 3 losses going in to the playoffs.
I hope your right, i just dont see it happening. Even if they get the number 1 seed, the cakewalk schedule ends once the playoffs start. Anyone that knows the chiefs (or pretty much any KC area team) knows that we choke in the playoffs.
You are right though, if we can get home field advantage arrowhead will be rocking like never before, and I'll be one of the crazy people paying ungodly amounts of money to be there!

These are not your Grandpappy's Chiefs...Different GM, Different Coaches, Different Players. None of these players were alive for most of those years and have absolutely no care whether the Chiefs have one 1 Superbowl or 30 Superbowls. They want that bonus money. They want that ring.

Well your first problem is Alex Smith and his playoff history. Also how many rings does your coach have?.. Gotta take it in baby steps. Rarely does a team emerge and win the superbowl the same year. Do I see them in a few years, yes, same with seahawks, 49ers and few other teams.. But not yet.

I've been a Broncos fan since I was 6 years old. I'm the black sheep in a family of Chiefs fans, so I'm really glad we came away with the win on Sunday. I really hope this is our year but have some misgivings about our defense, although I was thoroughly impressed with the way our O-line handled the Chiefs D the other night.

I am a football coach and have to say you hit the nail on the head. I have watched the game now 6 times. What I walk away with is interior line play on the part of the Broncos. This is worrisome for the Chief fan. Moving forward I am more than a little concerned about the schemes the Broncos used up front and the the variations of schemes throughout the game.

The general public just sees a Bronco win. The NFL sees a team that figured out how to beat the Chiefs D upfront.... Everyone is on this like a red nose on Rudolf. Moving forward the questions becomes, when to introduce new strategy in their line play. You already seen the the statuesque freezing with Payton's audibiling......they stayed in form without flinching... We will see in rematch II

Agree with you 100% on this, coach. And- if it is one thing I have learned from watching the NFL for the last 30 years or so, it is that one can tell very little in mid-to-late November about who will win a Super Bowl. Some teams start to gel, some get healthier, some go on improbable runs, (see my NY Giants in '07 & '11), and there is always the "X" factor in games: Blown/missed calls by the refs, inopportune turnovers. etc. Conversely, a key injury to a star player, (see Aaron Rodgers) can derail a once promising season. Bottom line: You never know!

Hard to argue with that, Paul.

Well said.

Not a Broncos fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think Payton Manning is definitely one of the best...
