Autocross season began in March. We are the keeper of the club's equipment van, which we stash in the backyard. That's usually not a problem except in the weeks approaching the first event we got a couple snowfalls and the backyard was really wet. Naturally, the van got stuck. Ram to the rescue!
Here's what we got the truck for: towing the race car around. In this case, we're loaded up and ready to go to that first one of the year, a whopping 8 mile tow.
Second trip, a little longer ride as we're headed to southern Georgia. Truck towed like a dream.
The ride home was a bit of an adventure as we ran into snow for the last couple hours of our trip
Made it home in one piece anyway, filthy but that's fixable
Here's our tweaked exhaust as referenced in another thread. I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to tackle it, that'll be on this week's to-do list anyway.
Test day, and we're seeing if we should maybe change cars from the green one to the white one. The truck makes for a great HQ as we had all kinds of tools, equipment, tires, etc to deal with.
Speaking of hauling tires.... this truck is earning its keep
The white car is going to be the new semi-serious race car. Here it's about to go to the alignment shop, then the decal shop
