So I decided to take apart the headlights and paint them and mid work decided to toss some LEDs in there while I had them open. This wasn't my first time taking headlights apart because I have done it on other vehicles before and it was nowhere near as much of a pain. Why they felt the need to use the sealant that they did is beyond be. These headlight were a huge pain to get apart and reseal but well worth it in the end. By no means was this difficult but it was just time consuming. Took about 3 hours to get it all out so I could reseal them right and I still have a little leak. Total time was around 8 hours to get it all done. If anyone wants I can write something up and explain how to do it. unfortunately I don't have any picture of the progress. anyways... Pics of the finished job.
I have sequential turn signals in the strip but I need a switching relay to turn off the DRL so you can see it better... but for a visual, I have amber LEDs in between the white
