Just saw a 2014 R/T at the track last week. Had the 8-speed w/ the dash dial for gear selection. There were a couple Hemi 4th gen guys there, the R/T's were running 15.3 and 15.4's. I ran a 15.2 and the only guy who was faster than me had an express w/ 3.92's. He had just a magnaflow 14" muffler. I raced him and I won because I got a better R/T but he ran a 15.0 to my 15.3 in that race. Luckily I was .4 quicker reaction so I got the win light .1 second before he crossed the line but he was coming around me.
This was at Vegas and my truck was running .6 seconds slower than I was running at low elevation. So figure all of these trucks could have ran .5-.6 faster in the exact same street setup.
I also beat a Hemi Challenger R/T. He ran a 15.4 and I ran a 15.2. This was surprising to me since I figured he'd be in the mid 14's at that elevation but that wasn't the case. I was happy to win that race.
I don't usually put much faith in the DA corrected times since I want a real timeslip to back it up, but with correction my best run was 14.58 and that includes a passenger and tailgate on a non prepped track so I really am anxious to run my truck at Sacremento soon.
