Did you paint it right on the truck and just tape it off?

What did you use for paint and how well does it hold up?

Thanks

I smoked mine with a product called Duplicolor "Shadow" right on the truck. Tape it off, spray light coats until you achieve the darkness you want. Here's mine with 3 coats. In person it looks more like black chrome.

Front Emblem I took off, Rear I left on, and taped it off.

So far its held up great.

I plastidipped mine. No taping and didn't take em off. Plastidip also now has a clear coat available which gives you a gloss finish. Look me up on Google+ for pics.

I just plasti-dipped my front and rear badges as well as my antenna and the plastic chrome ring around the gear shifter. Very easy to do and looks great! Everyone says it holds up well but Im still on the fence about it.

oh i was on the fence too!!

i have dipped my black sport and our black "beater" santa fe, both have held up amazingly well, the santta fe i actually did the steel rims with it and theyre still great even after some sand dunes and now snow banks!

cant say enough about it and hell if i have to redo them next summer whatever, its so cheap and lasted so long so far its easily worth it.

antenna.....wow...totally doing the same in the spring...i bet it looks awesome! cant believe i didnt think of it!

I used that on my sons wheels 2 years ago and it's holding up extremely well. Neat product.
