Default Soft cover on center console to cushion arm

I find the surface of the center console (lid) to be too hard and sticky in the warm months. I have put a small towel on top of the lid but it always blows off when the windows are open.

Has anyone found or fabricated a 'cushion' and a method to attach it to the console lid to stabilize it?

I purchased a soft center console cover for my 2013 Ram Express from Komfy Covers http://autoconsolecovers.com/index.php It fits the console cover perfectly and could be used to support and stabilize additional cushioning material under it.
