it wasnt meant to be!

ive got this shallow but long scratch (barely noticable, but i see everything) from my left front fender across the front drivers side door... i got about half of it out with some light wetsanding/polishing and got tired... havent gone at it since.. maybe in the spring.

the scratch was my own fault though. went through some pretty tight trails.

I agree with OP i always park in the back, and just like the your picture shows if there is another ram in the area it the only way to park, but like CHP said college parking lots are like mine fields of teenage girls that love to put dents in trucks so you definitely ave to keep your guard up

I am lucky. I park next to other employees who know what it is like to work for something. We had an expansion to the building where I work and they moved a pile of landscape rocks next to an end parking spot. I park with the driver door towards them and the space next to mine is always an employee.

When I go to Home Depot or anyplace like it I park next to the cart corral. One door is always away from people and I can drop the cart off after I am done.

I refuse to take up two spots. IMO those are they same type of people who talk during a movie in theaters. Both should be relegated to the Ninth Plane of Hell.

I have a scratch above my rear driver side tire and also a scuff beside my rear tail.. original tails also had the scuff on it before I tinted them. have a small tent in the corner of the rear bumper there too. I know the previous driver (was assistant sales manager at my dealership) and he was not meant to drives trucks, got a civic now. But the truck was baby's, he beleived offroading was going through a gravel parking lot

They are terrifying. If I don't tuck in my tow mirrors, people walk into them while on their phones. Watched someone miss my mirror by a 1mm yesterday. No one can park here either.

Ahhh Shopping cartsss. That is one spot I stay away from as I have seen people just whip their carts and hope that they go where they aimed them.

I also park way out back, and away from any other cars. i put way too much work into my truck to have someone putting dents and scratches in it.

OK, I know I am a little "off-center", but I have just refused to go to a place where I have to park the Ram in a huge lot, (front, back or middle). I either ride with a buddy, take the wife's SUV, or if worse comes to worse, I drop the wife off at the front of the store, go park as far away as possible where I can still see her come out, and stay in the truck. I think if I came out to find a dent or scratch, I would be on the nightly news the very next day!

You also have the option of parking on top of several vehicles so that no passer by's could side swipe though. I need a bigger truck

I do the same thing most of the time.

My gf haaates it.

Hell, i drive my ol silverado to work 90% of the time,
1-its a gravel lot and i like to keep my ram clean and clear or flying rock, flats. I had an idiot swing his door of his POS 70s ferd and scratch my door after i had it for only like a month....

2-just keep the miles down. I usually just drive the ram 3 days a week..maybe, and somehow i still manage to have 13k on it in a year and only added 1.5k on vacation

i hear you with the mileage thing. my commute to work has never been to long. its about a 10km drive to work since moving into my new place back in april, before that, 25 km approx.. Bought the truck this pas feb, only one real road trip (about 3000km) and im over 16000 km already... then again, typically on my days off i drive about 100km back to my hometown for a few nights... add up quick, and insurance thinks im doing around 15000km/year... shhhh
