With Dodge reintroducing the SCAT pack in the Lx cars maybe just maybe they will do something for the trucks. I for one would jump all over a new supercharged 5.7 or a 6.4 with 450hp 450+ trq ram.

You guys are missing the point of the 6.4 in the 2500 and up trucks. There is nothing sporty or quick about them. Their purpose is to tow your sports car to the track, your show car to the show, or your horse to the show, etc... Not everyone needs or wants a diesel, this engine "could" be their answer.

Never once indicated that the 2500 is "Sporty". That's ludicrous. The GM 6.2 makes a lot of power down low. Not just peak numbers. I know these trucks are meant to be trucks that tow and haul and get beat on. It's just that the numbers are barely more than the 5.7 half ton motor. My point is that I don't see a point to the 6.4L vs the 5.7L... But yes. I'm very curious to see a dyno sheet of from the 6.4L

Again, the 6.2 is a half ton/light-duty motor. Let's be fair here and compare the GM 6.0 to the 6.4 or even Ford's 6.2 in the Super Duty to the 6.4. The 410HP/429TRQ now looks really good, besting both of them.
