Well I just got done installing my first mod on my 09 Ram Hemi. K&N air intake. I was surprised at how easy it was to do. I can't believe how much of a difference it makes on the throttle response, and how much beefier it makes the engine sound. I only drove a couple of miles, but I'm very impressed so far.

My Bully Dog tuner comes in tomorrow, I'm hoping that makes even more of a difference. With adding these two, how much gain in MPG and HP do you think I'll get?

When you start playing around with the tunes, you will notice a difference. I am new to the tuner game but I noticed a difference just adjusting some of the parameters in the 87 oct tune I am currently running. After the holidays I will drive the tank dry and fill it with premium and try out the 91 oct tune. BTW, I am using the Diablosport inTune so I can't exactly comment on how the Bully Dog will treat you but I know you will like it.

Glad you're ahppy so far, highly recommend getting a catch can. It will keep crap out of/from accumulating in the head and keep the octane rating of whatever gasoline you run at what its supposed to be which is vital when running an advanced tune.

Looking forward to doing the intake myself, but I've seen a few folks that have mentioned the catch cans... Might have to pick one up as I now I've run them on imports and other cars build for running high RPM's and high HP numbers to keep the oil from gunking up the intake and top end...

Great product feedback!

You might have to find someone who has done a dyno pull being stock then with both upgrades to determine what the est. HP+ would be. Not sure if anyone here has done that.

Let us know how you like the combo.

My father-in-law has the exact truck as mine so I'm going to "make" him drag race me and see the difference. K&N says I'm supposed to get 15 HP more and Bully Dog shows up to 35 HP more. Without a dyno at my disposal I guess I'll never know for sure.

I have to make a 6 hour drive tomorrow so I'll be able to get a better idea as to how much fuel I'll save. Thanks, guys. After reading about them, I'm going to seriously consider a catch can.

yeah dont trust those numbers at all.. maybe you will get 2-3hp.. MAYBE.

most of the gains you get are from the butt dyno, and maybe a slight gain in mpg's

oh, and the sound. they sound great
