Default Tranny quick learn please help

My transmission is being serviced tomorrow while im on a hunting trip 3 hours away and the tech who is like my father didn't tell me he had to run a quick learn till after I left so I didnt set my trinity to stock will running a quick learn lock up mu tuner??

It shouldn't. The PCM should be fine since its just the tranny that needs the quick learn not the PCM.

No it will not, all it does reset the clutch value index (CVI) so that the trans tuning knows what it is dealing with. What kind of service was it? If it's just a fluid/filter change you don't need to do a quick learn.

He is doing a filter swap fluid change and he is trying to fix the lag im getting when I put it in gear when its cold do he just wanted to run the bases with a quick learn. All he ccharging me is fluid and filter cost labor and everything else he owes me a favor

The lag going into gear when it is cold is called 'converter drainback'. The fluid drains out of the converter, all you need to do is give it a little more time to warm up before you go. Then next time put oem filters in. Quick learn won't fix that...

Thank you sir!! And he did go back oem filters and I ahve been letting a sit and fill up since I first noticed it. Also I just got word from him tonight everything is done and you were right it didnt mess with anything. Thank you again
