Loved the hemifever tunes, even with no mods. World of difference in feel. I checked most tanks, and I seemed to get better mpg's running Sean's 89 tune(mds off) than I did running the canned 87 tune. Not a ton, but a consistent 3/4-1 mpg(checked miles at fill up). Over 25 gallons thats 20 miles or so, which is about 1.3 gallons worth, which is almost 5 bucks, which is almost the difference between 87 and 89. And it just drives way better.

So you run 87 with hemi fever? or 89? And did you order it through their website or is there another easier way to get it?

I put in 89 for the 89 tune from hemifever, and 87 for the 87 tune(the canned diablo one). I wouldn't recommend running a lower octane for any given tune, while the comp will probably take care of the timing to protect the engine, I can't imagine it would drive great - which defeats the whole purpose of using a tuner for performance. I ordered mine through hemifever's site, Sean was great to deal with and responded quickly to any questions I had.

Technically both.... Sean is the guy who does the Hemifever tuning but he's also on this forum as Hemifever. I think he has a sub section in the vendor section of the forum.
