Default Tire Question.

Hey All, new to the site. I have a tire question. I have a 2013 Ram 2500 Big Horn 4X4 that I plow with. Running stock Firestone 17's with a Boss 8'2" DXT V-Blade. I wanna add a set of 35's but not really sure what the best 35" tire would be for plowing. A buddy of mine is running a 2013 Ram Diesel with his plow truck and just put on 35" Nitto trail grapplers, with no snow yet not sure how well they will perform. the tire has no siping and that makes me a lil nervous. Also I'm finding it hard to find a 35 that will allow for max tire pressure of 80 psi. any help would be greatly appreciated.

All terrain tires will work better in the snow than mud tires. Take a look at the Toyo AT2's or the Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Why do you need a tire that can go up to 80 psi? As long as they achieve the weight rating you need the exact pressure they meet it at shouldn't matter.

Also, you will probably need a leveling kit on your truck in order to run 35's and the plow. I can see the weight of the plow pulling the front end down and not giving you enough clearance.

The ones my father and i have had great luck with in the snow are the Firestone Destination A/T and also the Michelin's LTX A/T 2 they are both available in a load range E tire which is what your 80 PSI is accounting for
