no

unless and issue arises that can directly be traced back to the CAI itself.

well at least in states that's how that works. they have to prove the "mod" directly caused the issue

I called my Dealers Service MGR and asked about changing the CAI.

He basically repeated what has been said above. As long as there are no gross installation/CAI issues it is perfectly fine.....no issues with warranty.

On the other hand he had no idea what a catch-can was and needed to research it....haven't heard back from him.

if I had to take my truck in for any kind of warranty work, I never bring it in with an aftermarket cai on it..I make my tuck look stock with the stock airbox... I don't want to give them any ammunition to say it caused the issue.

thats true ^^^^^^^ if you are worried about it, just swap back the stock one before you take it in. Not sure how hard the S&Bs are to install/uninstall but cant be more than 30-40 min esp if you've already done it once

On billet technology's website they say that their catch can design is approved by mopar. Imo there is no way a catch can will void warranty. It's catching oil that would otherwise be burned or gunk up in your intake manifold.

I just had my truck in the dealership under warranty 2 weeks ago due to a check engine light. They never even acknowledged my catch can was there during the diagnosis or afterwards.
Turned out to be a bad fuel cap causing a "evap system error" message. They put a new cap on and no problems.
