Default 2014 Mopar 5th wheel Hitch update

So if any of you were ordering the Mopar 5th wheel hitch for your 2014 please be aware of a clarification they just added with the 2014 models concerning the hitches.
Originally, the only hitch that didn't say it needed the special bracket was the 25000lb. That is why I ordered it. The others specifically said you needed the bracket for the Ram.
The original wording for the 25000lb is below cut and pasted about 2 weeks ago from the Mopar website:
mopar.com/ram/3500/2013/shop/356626/274/4953/
Hitch Fifth Wheel
Part # 82213821
Category: Carriers & Cargo Hauling Accessories
MSRP $950.00 Price may vary by dealer
Fifth Wheel Hitch mounts directly to vehicle frame cross members over the rear axle. Easy-to-spot Kingpin placement indicator provides visual confirmation if Kingpin is in proper hook-up location. Pivoting head makes for easy loading on uneven ground. Hitch does not touch pickup bed and can be removed when not in use.
Additional Details: Fifth Wheel Hitch, 25,000 lb towing capacity, includes Fixed Legs. Install on trucks with either production Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck prep or Mopar Fifth Wheel prep.

Notice the difference now at the end:
Fifth Wheel Hitch mounts directly to vehicle frame cross members over the rear axle. Easy-to-spot Kingpin placement indicator provides visual confirmation if Kingpin is in proper hook-up location. Pivoting head makes for easy loading on uneven ground. Hitch does not touch pickup bed and can be removed when not in use.
Additional Details: Fifth Wheel Hitch, 25,000 lb towing capacity, includes Fixed Legs. Install on trucks with either production Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck prep or Mopar Fifth Wheel prep (82213665AB). Also need Mounting Bracket 82213667

That bracket is $575 MSRP. Every time Ram or Mopar updated their marketing/brochures it has cost me more money.

Just had them try to use the bed bracket and it didn't work. They think it was due to mfg defect. Ordered another and will try again on Wed.

Pictures of the MOPAR 25K 5th wheel hitch and mounting bracket.
*Notice the bracket looks like someone welded it in their garage.

Due to the size of the pics I had to do pdf instead of JPEG. :-/
