Hopefully this hasn't been asked and answered already, but what are you leveled 2wd guys doing for shocks?

I'm not leveled yet, I will be in the next week. And plan on running the stock shocks. Alot of people run the stock 2500 shocks because they have more travel. But from what I've read you should be fine running your stock shocks.

I've heard of guys doing the 2500 swap..just never talked to anyone that has. If that makes sense. I'm still running my stock shocks but they are completely maxed out with no travel at all. I did a 2" level. I did find a set of Maxtrac shocks for 2wd trucks that are lifted up to 2.5" for around $80..just seeing if theres any other options.

I was leveled with the TRUXXX 2" level kit for 2,500 miles. It worked great. I switched because I got a great deal on a CST lift kit.

I will sell the spacers if interested.

PM me.

Sorry, just noticed you were looking for shock info.

I stayed on oem shocks and I thought it worked fine.

Default Truxx kit

Hey Maas1981
Do you have pics of your truck?
I want to level my 2wd bighorn but most of the shops in my area near Tampa won't touch it.
The claim the suspension will be too weak after leveling kit install so my only option is a lift kit. Way more money because then of course I'll need new wheels and tires.

Hey man I'm in tampa to. I happen to work at a big dealership in the area. And I know for a fact 4 wheel parts will do it. But only if you buy the leveling kit from them and all. Ends up being like $500 after alignment and all. I'm throwing mine on at my work with stock shocks next week. With 20x10 wheels with -24 offset and 305 55 20 tires. I'll let you know how it rides.
