Default 2010 level help!

Could really use some input on leveling my truck. Little info to start I have a 2010 ram 1500 4x2. Has stock rims and tires (275x60x20). I'm more interested in getting rid of my rake. I have read a lot of forums here but still can't decide on what to.

1) I've already measured my front and rear and I need a 2.5" level.
2) I've seen a few kits that lift the from and back such as an ex. A 2.5 front and 1.75 rear. Correct me if I'm wrong but that will just lift the truck up and I'll still be left with the same rake correct?
3) does anyone have any good brands with just a 2.5" level for the front?
4) tires are also in the future... Probuably some nitto grapplers so if I just do the 2.5" in the front what the best tire suggestion? 33""
5) if I get 33" or 35" will I need a spacer as well?

Any help here would be grateful or any suggestions better then my idea above would be great. I promise to post pics if I can get some good advice and get the work done!!

1. most 2.5" levels leave a TINY bit of rake since the spacer compresses a little bit when you put the weight back on the suspension. what little rake may be left often isn't noticeable. also keep in mind, if/when you tow, the ass end will be lower than the front. to eliminate this, I'd recommend Airlift 1000s or Total Load Control (TLC) airbags. check the lifting/suspension threads in the forums.
2.To my knowledge-correct. however with the spacers, this does put a little more stress on your suspension since the shocks have further to travel now. some people say that they can notice it, others don't. i'm not sure of any correlation yet
3.most leveling kits for 2wd are all going to be comparable or about the same. most choose the Daystar leveling kit. again, check the suspension threads, they'll help out a lot
4. the trail grapplers tend to be pretty beefy, so i'm not sure about the clearance after the front is leveled. i would imagine at least a 33 would be clear. 35 might be pushing it. someone who has them can chime in
5.not sure if i understand. do you mean ANOTHER spacer or just a spacer in general if you're just upgrading tires?

Poke around and check the stickies in the suspension threads. tons of useful info there

Lots of guys putting 35's on after leveling. Need some offset on the rims or a 1/4" spacer though.

I put 35's on my Leveled truck

There is some rubbing when at full lock. But a little bit of trimming should rid of that problem.

Check out this link for pictures of my setup

Yeah I have read a 1/4 inch spacer will give it a nice fit. However I am thinking of going with a 2". A slight rake would be fine with me and less likely I'll have to worry about being nose high when the truck is under load. Really wish hbs would come out with a kit for the 2wd.

Couple more questions... With a 2.5" what would I be looking at in long term possible damage? Shocks over extending? Upgrade cv joints? Higher gears to help with the 35's?

Rocky I like the truck btw!!

Has anyone installed a air dryer with their TLC system? I live in MN and it gets pretty cold and I was wondering if it will build condensation in the bags and freeze.
Thanks!
